About the service I offer
Counselling can help you to explore feelings of stress, anxiety, depression or low mood. You may have a diagnosed mental health problem or perhaps you have been trying to live with growing feelings of discontentment or despair. If you feel this way counselling can help you to reflect on thoughts, feelings and patterns of behaviour without judgement, in a confidential space with a trained professional.
There are many issues I can help you with through one-to-one dedicated counselling, including:
loneliness and isolation
low self esteem
bereavement or loss
work related stress
management of health issues
You can contact me via text, email or by phone (0771 firstname.lastname@example.org). I will always aim to reply within 24 hours. After a brief discussion about your needs, we can meet for an initial consultation where we will get a chance to meet and discuss how you are feeling and your hopes for counselling. The initial consultation takes one hour.
If after your assessment you decide to take up counselling with me to work with your issues, we can arrange regular weekly sessions. It is entirely up to you how long you attend sessions, but I do recommend that we work together towards a positive ending in order to maximise the longterm benefits of the counselling relationship. My dedicated counselling office is in Ampthill, and parking is on site.
Toilet facilities are provided on-site.
